Mountainview is conducting a Blue Christmas Service just after Thanksgiving for those who have experienced recent losses or losses from many years ago. Offering a Blue Christmas service well in advance of Christmas Day gives each of us an extended time of reflection to focus on the Christ child. We can do more than survive the holidays, we can thrive. For in the Christmas story is a message of love and redemption that transcends all that we see and feel. The Christ child was born into darkness to meet our deepest needs.
