Mondo Gonzales
Mondo was a pastor for over 16 years and has led many church groups to Israel. In addition to his undergraduate degree in Jewish studies, his love of the land of Israel led him to get a masters degree in Biblical archaeology and languages. He has an extensive understanding of ancient and modern Israel and is the author of the “Mystery of the Red Heifer” which discusses all the prophetic developments happening today surrounding the Third Temple Movement which seeks to rebuild the temple in Jerusalem.

Here are some frequently asked questions about the upcoming trip:
The initial $500 deposit is the only portion of the trip that can be paid directly by credit card. The second $500 deposit (due 21 days after registration) and the final payment (due 120 days before departure) must be paid via check, ACH, or wire transfer to Imagine Tours.
Israel is an incredible, modern country with vastly different scenery, from the Mediterranean coastline and the lush greenery of the Northeast to the rocky desert of the Dead Sea and the beautiful hill country surrounding Jerusalem.
Imagine Tours has arranged for our tour to stay at top-notch hotels: the Leonardo Plaza in the Mediterranean coastal city of Netanya, the Leonardo Hotel in Tiberius (overlooking the Sea of Galilee), and the beautiful Dan Hotel in the heart of Jerusalem.
Breakfast and dinner will feature buffet style fresh vegetables, fruit, salads, top-notch cuisine, as well as endless coffee and desserts. You will have plenty of amazing food.
There is no specific fitness requirement. Our tour bus will take us to the various Biblical sites each day. From there, we will be walking, sightseeing, taking pictures, and learning. While there will be a good amount of walking, nothing is incredibly strenuous.
While connecting the history of the Bible to the land is a primary focus, you will also have the opportunity to:
- Be baptized in the Jordan River.
- Have ample time to shop for souvenirs in Galilee, Bethlehem, and Jerusalem. You will want to save room in your suitcase!
- Take a dip and float in the Dead Sea.
- Get a tattoo at Razzouk Tattoo in Old Town Jerusalem—the oldest tattoo shop in the world, operated by the same family since the 1300s that tattooed the crusaders—signifying themselves as followers of Jesus.
